VW ‘needs time’ to boost U.S. production to offset tariffs, will wait and see for now

Volkswagen brand boss Thomas Schäfer said increasing production at the automaker’s U.S. plant in Chattanooga to offset import tariffs planned by President Donald Trump was not realistic at present.
