Lithia says Q2 net income slipped 11% while new stores lifted revenue 12%

Lithia Motors Inc. reported its net income dropped 11 percent to $301.1 million in the second quarter, even amid rising new-vehicle sales and adding dozens of new stores this year, as it saw declines in new- and used-vehicle gross profit per retail.
