In what Volkswagen dealers hope will be an extreme competitive advantage, retailers in the U.S. are likely to see tens of thousands of additional North American-built crossovers and Jettas show up on their lots over the coming months as the automaker shifts stalled production out of Europe because of the war in Ukraine.
