Stellantis plans U.S. hourly, salaried buyouts to trim costs, fund EV push

Stellantis' Detroit Assembly Complex on Mack Ave., where the Jeep Grand Cherokee is produced. The automaker aims to cut 3,500 U.S. hourly jobs, or about 9 percent of the 40,500 hourly workers who were eligible to collect a profit-sharing check from Stellantis in March.
