Carlos Ghosn's ex-lawyer says Nissan chief would not have fled if charged in U.S.

TOKYO – One of Carlos Ghosn’s former defense lawyers says the indicted onetime chief of the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi automotive empire would never have jumped bail and fled Japan if he had been arrested and charged in the United States instead.
