Audi will focus on plug-in hybrids as transition technology to full-electric cars

Audi is extending sales of combustion-engine cars beyond an original planned cutoff date of 2032 and will place more emphasis on plug-in gasoline-hybrid electric vehicles to help the brand lower CO2 emissions to meet regulatory targets.
