Subaru touts advanced production systems as secret weapon in hybrid, EV era

KITAMOTO, Japan — Subaru, playing catch-up in electrified vehicles, has launched production of a new hybrid transaxle that will eventually be exported for a U.S.-built gasoline-electric Forester.
