Note: Late Wednesday, the Trump administration clarified some aspects of its automotive tariff scheme. Classic and collectible vehicles that are 25 or more years old from the date of manufacture will continue to be charged 2.5 percent duty upon entry into the United States. But restoration parts for classic cars, such as sheetmetal components and engine parts, will be subjected to higher tariffs.
