NHTSA opens safety probe into Kia Sorento crossovers after reports of engine failure

WASHINGTON — The nation's chief auto safety regulator has opened a safety probe into nearly 128,000 Kia Sorento midsize crossovers after more than a dozen complaints of power loss while driving.
