Consumer Reports sends petition to NHTSA asking to reevaluate flammability test

Consumer Reports has sent a petition with more than 32,000 signatures to NHTSA asking the top U.S. auto safety regulator to update its flammability test in wake of findings that chemicals used to meet the agency's standards might be carcinogenic.
