Auto industry urges Biden to back 'comprehensive' EV plan

WASHINGTON -- Major automakers, suppliers and the UAW urged President Joe Biden to support a "comprehensive plan" on electric vehicles and called for hefty government tax credits and numerous other financial incentives.
