Faulty tailgates trigger recall of 150,000 GM heavy-duty trucks in U.S., Canada

General Motors is recalling 150,047 heavy-duty trucks in the U.S. and Canada because of a tailgate with a power lock that might short-circuit and unlatch unexpectedly. The recall affects the 2024 Chevrolet Silverado HD 2500 and 3500, and the GMC Sierra HD 2500 and 3500.
