How has the UAW strike affected other workers?

Automotive News is tracking the number of employees at the Detroit 3 and their suppliers who are not working because of the UAW strike that began Sept. 15. A complete tally is difficult to compile because suppliers often don’t publicize temporary layoffs. The numbers listed here generally reflect production disruptions at sites that directly or indirectly supply a location where workers are on strike, or else they rely on parts that would be made by the striking workers.
