Toyota invests $1.4 billion in Indiana plant for large EV

Toyota Motor Corp. will invest $1.4 billion into its assembly complex in Princeton, Ind., to manufacture a large three-row electric vehicle, adding an estimated 340 jobs to the plant's workforce of approximately 7,500. But details of the investment signal that it may be an alteration of one of the plant's existing nameplates instead of an all-new vehicle.
