Bright paint can be a stolen converter alert

With more than 8,000 catalytic converters reported stolen in 2021, Houston is a hot zone. And based on statistics from the first three months of 2022, the nation's fourth-largest city could see between 13,000 and 14,000 converter thefts for the year, said Houston Police Sgt. Tracy Hicks.
