House spending bill contains block on FTC car dealer rule

The U.S. House Appropriations Committee and U.S. House Financial Services and General Government Subcomittee, chaired by Steve Womack, R-Ark., shown, both supported a spending bill that would stop the Federal Trade Commission from enacting and enforcing its proposed regulations on dealerships.
