Battery may not drain EV residual values

LAS VEGAS — The ballyhooed issue of battery degradation might represent a less important challenge to electric vehicle residual values when compared with other variables, according to auto finance experts. Used-vehicle prices, original battery range and consumer demand could be more influential factors to watch.
