Akio Toyoda's $10 million compensation broke company record

In the last fiscal year, Toyota Chairman Akio Toyoda was awarded total compensation of ¥1.622 billion ($10.09 million), the highest payout to any executive in the Japanese carmaker’s history, as the company raked in record profits.
