BYD aims to double overseas sales to 800,000 in 2025, chairman tells analysts

SHANGHAI ― Chinese electric vehicle giant BYD aims to double its sales outside China to more than 800,000 cars and light trucks in 2025 and will look to overcome tariffs by assembling vehicles locally, its chairman told analysts on an earnings call.
