Fiat plans optional third door for 500 electric car

The Fiat New 500 is a slightly larger, battery-electric version of the brand's popular minicar. Deliveries of a two-door launch edition called the Prima will start next month.

MILAN – Fiat plans to reveal a variant of the New 500 electric minicar next month with a small, front-opening door that gives easier access to the rear seats.
