GM's 2025 headquarters move in Detroit reflects post-pandemic office space needs

General Motors in 2025 will shrink its presence in downtown Detroit by moving its headquarters out of the Renaissance Center towers and exploring options to redevelop the riverfront office complex it bought nearly three decades ago but no longer can fill in an era of remote work.
