Saturn showdown
Timeline for former Saturn dealer Bob Goodman's lawsuit March 2005: Deloitte, as auditor, gives an unqualified opinion on Saturn's annual franchise offering circular, creating the impression that Saturn is financially solid, Goodman alleges. March 2008: Goodman opens a Saturn store in Cape Coral, Fla., part of a larger investment in 3 dealerships. February 2009: GM reveals plans to divest itself of Saturn. The brand together with Saab and Hummer contributed an average of $1.1 billion in annual losses from 2003 to 2007, GM says. March 2010: Goodman files suit against Deloitte seeking $13.8 million in compensation for his post-2005 Saturn investments. June 2015: Possible court date for the case.
