The lender lineup: How many is too many?

F&I Director Danny Cox is paring the number of lenders Ken Garff Automotive Group uses from 68 last year to about 20. Eight will be large banks and the rest will be local or regional lenders. The group has more than 40 stores in six states.

Ken Garff Automotive Group of Salt Lake City is expanding. Garff Automotive, already the 11th-largest U.S. dealership group, added six stores this year and plans to add four next year.
