Ferrari prices the 458 Spider at $257,000

The 458 Spider will have a folding hardtop instead of the canvas top offered on the 430.

REGGIO EMILIA, Italy - Ferrari has announced its new 458 Spider will cost $257,000 when the supercar's U.S. sales start in January 2012. European sales of the 458 Spider, which is a derivative of the 458 Italia two-seat coupe, start next month at 226,800 euros.
