Ford and Mazda to expand Thailand joint venture plant for pickups

With the planned improvements, Mazda and Ford will have invested more than $1.85 billion in the Thailand truck plant since the venture was created in 1995.

Ford Motor Co. and longtime partner Mazda Motor Corp. plan to invest $350 million in a Thailand joint venture to build a new generation of compact pickup trucks.
