Altair opens vehicle lab

DETROIT - Altair Engineering Inc. has opened a vehicle development laboratory at its Troy, Mich., headquarters. The 10,000-square-foot lab has vehicle hoists, surface plates and a machine shop. The space also will be used to test instruments and build models and prototypes.
