VW’s Seat warns jobs at risk unless EU lowers tariff on China-built SUV

BERLIN — Volkswagen Group’s Seat brand will be forced to cut output and lay off around 1,500 workers if the EU does not lower its tariff on the brand’s China-built Cupra Tavascan electric car by the end of March, CEO Wayne Griffiths told Reuters.
