Hyundai, one of the world leaders in hydrogen powertrain technologies, could be selling between 50,000 and 200,000 fuel cell stacks a year in 2030 as the company ramps up vehicle sales and expands deployment to other sectors, including forklift, stationary power generation and trains, the head of development says.
Hyundai unveiled a hydrogen fuel cell concept called the Initium, a crossover that will succeed the outgoing Nexo. It will feature the brand's next-generation fuel cell system and its revamped design language when it goes on sale in the first half of 2025.
