EU cloud-computing solution gains favor with BMW, Bosch, others

Strict regulations have prevented automakers in Europe from mining data for commercial purposes as effectively as their U.S. counterparts, but a solution to the problem may be on the horizon. Through a project known as Gaia-X, European policymakers aim to help automotive and other industries by creating a common standard that enables the secure and seamless exchange of information stored in a mutual cloud.
