The first battery-electric Genesis on a dedicated platform, the GV60, will take electric vehicles into a new space when it arrives in the U.S. next year. The compact crossover's Drift Mode engages software settings for power and braking to allow for a controlled slide. Normally, safety software would rein in a slide. But Genesis says the feature is for EV drivers "who are looking for a more dynamic experience."
