TOYOTA-LEXUS: Trucks fuel August record

Booming light-truck sales in the U.S. pushed the Toyota brand up over 12 percent to 218,403 vehicle sales in August, a record for the month, while Lexus sales rose 4.6 percent to 29,931 vehicles. For Toyota, the Highlander had its best-ever sales month, while the RAV4, Tacoma, 4Runner, C-HR and Corolla all set sales records for August.
