TOYOTA: 6th straight monthly decline

Toyota brand sales fell 4.8 percent in April to 162,506 as a large decline in sales of the Corolla dragged down record results from both the RAV4 and Tacoma. Meanwhile, Lexus sales slipped 1.3 percent in April to 21,360 on weakened sales of its nonhybrid crossovers. Collectively, Toyota Motor North America sales fell 4.4 percent to 183,866, the sixth consecutive year-over-year decline.
