Tesla's Inc.'s Model Y crossover was considered the bestselling global model by industry analysts last year, but it came up short in the U.S. behind pickups from Ford, Chevrolet and Ram, plus the venerable Toyota RAV4 crossover, according to 2023 new-vehicle registration data from S&P Global Mobility.
