TOYOTA-LEXUS: Q1 volume up 0.1% at Toyota, 5.8% at Lexus on hybrids

Toyota Motor North America sales rose 0.9 percent in the first quarter to 570,269, with Lexus brand sales up 5.8 percent 83,043, while the Toyota brand eked out a 0.1 percent gain in the first quarter to 487,226. For March, Toyota brand sales were up 6.6 percent while Lexus sales jumped 14 percent.
