Ford halts 2024 F-150 Lightning shipments; delivery of gasoline trucks begins roughly two months after production

Ford Motor Co. has halted shipments of all 2024 model year F-150 Lightning electric pickups over an undisclosed quality issue, while shipments of some gasoline-powered 2024 F-150s started this week after hundreds, if not thousands, of trucks have piled up in holding lots around Detroit since production began in December.
