CDK Global, a week after being struck by two cyberattacks, told its dealerships it doesn’t expect to restore all systems before June 30 despite “making significant progress.”

“We do feel it is important to share that we do not believe that we will be able to get all dealers live prior to June 30. Should you need to make alternate plans for your month-end financial close process, you should do so,” the company said in a customer update emailed on June 25.

The note to customers said CDK wants to “continue to be as transparent as possible with you,” and that the restoration process of its core applications is continuing.

CDK reminded dealers to rely on its Dealer Resource Center, which houses commonly used documents and forms to support sales and service efforts. Its Digital Retail, CDK Phones, Payroll Plus and ServiceView applications continue to be available for use, the company said.
