Canadian dealers say China-made EVs are ‘formidable’ competition

Tariffs on China-made electric vehicles are a necessary, short-term measure to protect Canada’s auto industry, but the sector will inevitably face “formidable” competition from overseas brands, said panelists at the Automotive News Canada Retail Forum on Oct. 24.
