Walter Coyle had pulse on what car buyers wanted

Former auto dealer Walter Coyle, 88, died Jan. 31 in Bonita Springs, Fla. He grew up in the auto industry as his father was transferred to new positions with Chevrolet. Coyle worked in his father’s Chevrolet dealership in New Albany, Ind., as office manager, service manager and general manager until he left the store in 1967.
