Why Renault believes dedicated EV platforms are the future

PARIS – Renault Group has embraced a strategy of building full-electric cars on dedicated platforms with its newest EVs, the Renault 5 small car and Renault 4 small SUV, even though rivals such as Stellantis continue to use architectures that can accommodate both battery-electric and internal combustion drivetrains.
