Auto industry leaders likely not ‘thrilled’ by tariffs

Last week, President Donald Trump announced his intention to levy 25 percent tariffs on all vehicles imported into the U.S. This is after previously announcing the idea, then quickly delaying implementation, followed by “hinting” U.S. automakers would be exempt and now reversing his position again. He even said U.S. manufacturers will be “thrilled” by this action.
