In our opinion: Bipartisan bill to restore tariff sanity deserves wide support

After nearly two months of economic chaos sown by President Donald Trump’s misguided upending of global trade norms and imposition of tariffs, a bipartisan bill that would effectively restore Congress’ role in regulating trade is gaining backers in the Senate. This industry must get behind the Trade Review Act of 2025 with all deliberate speed.
