In our opinion: To fight tariffs, show consumers their impact on the sticker

Dealers and their employees regularly are forced to defend the decisions of the manufacturer their franchise represents. When a consumer asks why some nameplate was discontinued or why a sticker price has increased, that question gets posed not to the automaker executive who finalized the decision, but to the person sitting in front of that consumer while trying to close a sale.
