Bill banning forced arbitration clears U.S. House

A bill that passed the U.S. House of Representatives would have a major impact on the way some dealers create contracts with buyers and employees alike. The Forced Arbitration Injustice Repeal Act, which effectively outlaws arbitration provisions in private contracts, passed Friday by a 225-186 vote, mostly along party lines.
