Nissan picks Hideyuki Sakamoto as board candidate after Seki's resignation

TOKYO -- Nissan Motor Co. has selected executive officer Hideyuki Sakamoto as a candidate for the board of directors, the company said Friday, following the surprise announcement of Vice COO Jun Seki's resignation last week.
