EV drivers want to use adapters to charge anywhere. A charger contagion could get in their way

Eager electric vehicle owners are arriving at public chargers with adapters in hand, ready to use the thousands of Tesla Superchargers that otherwise wouldn’t work for their cars. Unwittingly, they could be spreading defects across chargers and EVs.
