EV startup Canoo files for Chapter 7 bankruptcy, will cease operations, liquidate assets

Electric vehicle startup Canoo Inc. said it filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and will cease operations effective immediately. The petition in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Delaware will trigger a liquidation of the company’s assets under court supervision.
