OBITUARY: Manuel Villamanan

MIAMI — Auto industry veteran Manuel Villamanan died Oct. 12 at age 85. He co-founded Midway Ford Miami in 1979, which later became part of South Motors. Villamanan was CEO of the group, which has six stores across South Florida selling BMW, Mini, Honda, Volkswagen and Infiniti, for more than 20 years. He also was CEO of South's four-store Vista Motors group.
