AUSTIN, Texas — John Weinberger, co-founder of Chicago retailer Continental Motors Group, died Sept. 12 at age 88. He and his younger brother Herman were partners for more than 50 years. They established Continental Motors in 1962 to specialize in the sales and service of import brands such as Triumph, Jaguar, MG and Toyota. The group has eight stores selling Acura, Audi, Ferrari, Honda, Mazda, Nissan and Toyota brands.
