When it arrives in U.S. dealerships in spring 2025, the Subaru Forester hybrid will deliver up to 40 percent better combined fuel economy and a 25 percent boost in city fuel economy over the current model. That would give it an estimated fuel economy rating of about 36 mpg, better than any other vehicle in Subaru’s lineup.
