Automotive News’ roundup of 2023 U.S. dealership buy-sells (and a look at Q1 2024, too)

In its third year of tracking dealership buy-sell data, Automotive News tallied 381 transactions involving 562 U.S. franchised dealerships in 2023, a 5.5 percent decrease from the 403 deals in 2022.
